3.2 Booking

Registrations are confirmed upon receipt of payment (if applicable) and any required information.
3.3 Event Changes

Removal from an Event does not absolve participants of any outstanding payments or obligations.

Organizers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that occurs during or after participation, except where prohibited by law.
3.6 Photographs and Videos

Photos and videos may be taken during Events for documentation, internal use, and promotional purposes, only with your consent.

Participation in photos or videos is voluntary. You may indicate your preference on the consent form or inform the organizers before or during the Event.
4. Booking, Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy
4.1 Booking and Payment

All bookings for workshops, retreats, or events are confirmed only after full or partial payment as indicated during registration.

Payments can be made via the methods provided on our website.

Prices are displayed in the relevant local currency (EUR, ISK, CHF, etc.) and may vary depending on your country. Final payment amounts may be affected by currency exchange rates, venue changes, or other circumstances beyond our control.

All payments must be made in the currency indicated at the time of booking. Any exchange rate differences are the responsibility of the participant.

Payment is required in full to secure your spot. For installment plans, your spot is secured once the first installment is received.

Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in these Terms.
4.2 Cancellation by Participant

Participants may transfer their spot to another person, subject to approval by the organizers.

Paid course fees are generally non-refundable.

No refunds are provided for partial attendance or early departure.
4.3 Cancellation by Organizer

If The Healing hands center i ehf or The Healing Hands Center France cancel an Event, participants are entitled to a full refund of the course fee.

We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by participants.
4.4 Force Majeure

If an Event is canceled or postponed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, travel restrictions, pandemics, or other emergencies), we will offer a rescheduled date or a full refund of the course fee.

The organizers are not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by participants under these circumstances.
4.5 Third-Party Organisers

Some Events may be organised in collaboration with external providers. These third-party organisers have their own Terms & Conditions.

The Healing hands center i ehf and The Healing Hands Center France are not responsible for the content, operations, or policies of third-party organisers.
5. Participant Responsibilities
5.1 Health and Physical Condition
Participants should consider their own physical and health conditions before registering for any workshop or retreat. The Healing Hands Center i ehf and The Healing Hands Center France are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Participants are responsible for consulting a qualified healthcare professional if they have any concerns.
5.2 Skills and Course Requirements
Participants should review course descriptions to ensure they meet any stated requirements.
5.3 Travel, Accommodation, and Insurance
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation, insurance, and personal expenses unless otherwise specified. We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover cancellation, health, or property issues.
5.4 Code of Conduct
Participants must behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow participants and follow all course guidelines, instructions, and safety procedures.
5.5 Property and Equipment
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and any equipment brought to Events.
5.6 Photography and Recording
Photos or videos may be taken during Events for promotional purposes. Participants must sign a consent form indicating whether their images or recordings may be used. Only participants who provide consent may have their photos or videos used.
5.7 Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
If meals or refreshments are provided as part of a workshop or retreat, participants must inform the organizers in advance of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or other special needs. The organizers will take reasonable steps to accommodate this information and, where applicable, communicate it to third-party food providers. However, the organizers cannot guarantee that all dietary or special requirements will be fully met. Participants are responsible for taking any additional precautions and assume responsibility for any health risks associated with consuming food provided during the event.
5.8 Environmental and Safety Considerations
Participants must follow safety instructions and local regulations during on-site activities or excursions.
5.9 Minors
Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian register on their behalf and accept these Terms. Children may participate only if they are genuinely interested in the workshop or retreat content and able to actively engage in the activities. These events are not intended as childcare services, and parents or legal guardians remain fully responsible for the supervision, safety, and wellbeing of the minor at all times.
Participation by minors is free of charge, unless otherwise stated.
5.10 Use of Photos, Videos, and Course Content by Participants
5.10.1 Personal Use and Social Sharing
Participants may take photos or videos only of parts of the event where explicitly allowed. Photos of the teacher or event settings may be shared on social media to support or promote The Healing Hands Center, provided that the sharing is personal, non-commercial, and the privacy of other participants is respected.
5.10.2 Course Content and Exercises
Participants may use course content, exercises, meditations, and teachings for personal study and practice. Sharing of course-related materials with other students for the purpose of support, learning, or guidance is permitted. Participants may not claim expertise, certifications, or professional authority beyond what they have completed through participation and their own personal experience.
5.10.3 Restrictions on Public Teaching and Commercial Use
Participants may not:

Offer courses, workshops, or online content presenting themselves as instructors of The Healing Hands Center methodology without explicit written permission.

Participants may not share recordings, course materials, or exercises from the teacher publicly on social media or online platforms, nor teach these publicly, in any way, whether or not it misrepresents the teachings or the teacher.

Claim expertise or certifications beyond what they have completed through participation and their own personal experience.
5.10.4 Responsible Sharing
Participants may share insights, meditations, and exercises learned, provided they clearly communicate that they are sharing personal experience and learning, not certified instruction. Sharing should be intended to support and help others, not for profit or public representation of The Healing Hands Center.
5.10.5 Liability
The Healing Hands Center is not responsible for how participants interpret, modify, or teach the content. Participants are fully responsible for any material they share or teach to others.

Participation in all workshops, retreats, and events is voluntary, and participants remain fully responsible for their own wellbeing, decisions, and actions during and after participation.
The Healing hands center i ehf and The Healing Hands Center France honor modern medicine and encourage open, thoughtful dialogue with qualified healthcare professionals when appropriate.
If workshops, retreats, or events are open to participants under the age of 18, the rules described in our Privacy Policy regarding minors apply.
7. Health & Medical Disclaimer
The services offered by The Healing hands center i ehf and The Healing Hands Center France do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or therapy.
Participants should always consult a qualified medical or healthcare professional for any medical concerns, diagnoses, or treatments.
By participating in our workshops, retreats, or events, you acknowledge and agree that:

The Healing hands center i ehf and The Healing Hands Center France will take reasonable care in providing workshops, retreats, and services. However, participation in all activities is voluntary, and attendees assume full responsibility for their own actions, safety, and wellbeing.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Healing hands center i ehf and The Healing Hands Center France shall not be liable for:

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the country in which the entity providing the service is based:

For services provided by The Healing hands center i ehf, Icelandic law applies.

For services provided by The Healing Hands Center France, French law applies.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the respective country of the providing entity.
For participants outside Iceland or France, this does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
