Objectives

• Learn a complete full-body Ancient ‘Thai’ Massage sequence from feet to head
• Understand the philosophy and principles of Ancient ‘Thai’ Massage, rooted in Nuad Phaen Boran
• Practise safe and effective techniques for bodywork and energetic flow
• Develop sensitivity, rhythm, and presence in touch
• Build confidence through repetition, partner practice, and guided feedback

Programme Structure

Days 1–2:
Introduction to the theory and foundations of Ancient ‘Thai’ Massage, including its philosophy, the role and ethics of the therapist, energetic self-care, and preparation of the session space.

Days 3–5:
In-depth exploration of body mechanics and energy lines, alongside practical training in the complete full-body sequence with daily partner exchanges.

Each day includes demonstration, hands-on practice, and space for questions and integration.

Techniques & Skills Practised

• The full Ancient ‘Thai’ Massage sequence: feet, legs, abdomen, chest, arms, back, neck, and head
• Use of thumbs, palms, and body weight for effective and sustainable pressure
• Principles of rhythm, breath coordination, and energetic awareness
• Posture and body mechanics for long-term, sustainable practice
